Karen Gray has worked in public education 1999, in roles that include principalships and central office roles. As a building leader, Karen ensured that play-based learning occurred daily. Karen is now a full time Educational Consultant providing leadership and professional development on PBL in districts across the state. Karen worked on play- based legislation, which passed in July 2023. She is a graduate of UConn PK3 Leadership Cohort, has extensive experience in early childhood education and has presented for various educational agencies.

EA has been a teacher and administrator in California, Connecticut and Texas. She serves on the UCONN Prek-3 Leadership program's national advisory board and is also a presenter. She has worked with school districts for the past 10 years to implement play-based learning (PBL) and executive function strategies. In addition to PBL and executive functioning, EA has expertise in supporting young dual language learners.
