About 

The Play Leadership Cohort is designed to enhance the leadership skills and professional knowledge of administrators who are seeking to build, support and/or strengthen a play-based learning environment in their school. Differentiated support will be provided - as determined by the cohort facilitators - based upon the individual, school and/or district needs.  Projected outcomes include: deepened understanding of the benefits of play-based learning environment; increased knowledge of how to align play-based learning to standards; and support for teacher professional development in the implementation of play-based learning.

Through a collaborative work environment, with hands on opportunities, the participants will be able support educators in implementing PBL. The cohort consists of four components that will be intertwined throughout the cohort experience. The units of study are: Curriculum and Instruction, Leading for Equity and Rigor, Systems and Operations Climate and Culture, and Communication.
