Who should apply? 

Elementary and district level administrators who have begun PBL implementation or are committed to the planning process for PBL implementation in  September 2025.

Does this cohort lead to a certification? 

No, participation in the Play leadership cohort does not lead to a certification and no college credit will be provided. 

Is there a fee?

Yes, a nominal one. Thanks to a grant from LEGO Community Fund U.S. (LCFUS), we have been able to reduce the per participant cost from $1,100 to $200. The fee covers resources and expenses that are not funded through LCFUS.  Upon acceptance, the fee can be paid directly to CT Network for Children and Families. 

What are the expectations for participants?

It is expected that all participants attend all five work sessions, as well as school site visits. There will be some reading and research to complete outside of the work sessions.

We will meet  from 9 am - 3 pm, on the following dates and locations:

March 3, 2025: Connecticut Association of Schools, 30 Realty Drive, Cheshire, CT
April 10, 2025: Location TBD
